I enjoy the Pyromaniacs site. I may not agree with everything there, and most likely my posts were seem pretty elementary to them, but I enjoy what they have to say and the way the say it. Today I read this post called Gutsy Grace, and it mirrored what I have said previously (although they are much more eloquent in their words than I can ever hope to be).
I totally agree that it is a difficult concept to grasp. So often I here things like “I should not do this, but I am under grace.” So is grace a license to do whatever with no repercussions? That seems at odds with Scripture, although very convenient for the one uses grace in this manner.
For me this is where Torah observance comes in. What was once impossible to do is now possible because of grace. I am not there yet, but as grace grows, I will keep getting closer and I will keep working out my salvation each and every day.
Walk in grace, walk in G-d Word. Baruch HaShem.
